EVSE Tax Credit Extended Through 2016

Included as part of the tax bill signed into law in December 2015 is an extension of the federal tax credit for the installation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). The tax credit has been extended and will last until the end of 2016. Residential property owners are allowed a 30% federal  tax credit - up to $1,000 - of the cost of the installation of the EV charging station. For commercial property owners, the credit is also 30% of the EVSE installation, but the credit can be as much as $30,000.

The Q4 2015 issue of Electric Car Insider magazine features individual full-page profiles about seven of the newest EVSE charge stations on the market. The magazine is available on independent newsstands across the U.S. and Canada including Barnes & Noble. Or, subscribe and never miss an issue.
